Peter Gracey is an innovative leader and mentor. The success of AG Salesworks, a sales and marketing company he co-founded in 2002, is the result of his innovative management. Like most business leaders, Gracey implements a solid foundation and business process for his employees. However, he tips the scales by instilling morale and drive in his employees through unique leadership. Even though he is a traditional “numbers guy,” Gracey also focuses on creating a dynamic work environment that fosters camaraderie between both sales and marketing. As a result, AG Salesworks is more than just a business; it’s a culture built around helping sales and marketing professionals improve their quality of life.

Gracey created the Outbound Index™ with The Bridge Group Inc., not only for AG Salesworks, but also to help other companies that would like to benchmark their data and performance. By measuring B2B sales prospecting effectiveness in the high technology sector, The Outbound Index™ provides a unique analysis of prospecting success, picking up where traditional top of funnel studies leave off and giving insight by industry and job function. This study uncovers a great deal of useful information and data, not only for the use of AG Salesworks but for other B2B companies with which we’re happy to share our findings. The first and second issue of the Outbound Index™ have been published, and Pete will continue to analyze numbers and trends to help other B2B sales and marketing companies.
Lastly, Pete also impacts the lives of college students in sales and marketing, as he is an adjunct professor at the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst, teaching classes focused on sales and marketing.
